On this occasion, the royal Infantries march in the forecourt of Buckingham Palace, in front of the public, this “changing of the guards” amazes tourists over and over again. The impressive St. Paul’s Cathedral is also a definite must visit! This is the place where many memorable events have taken place, such as the wedding of Prince Charles and Princess Diana 1981. Use the opportunity to witness a most diverse history and culture in one of the biggest Museums, which displays over 6 million objects and exhibits with relics from every different continent.
Even though London is a big City it still has many green areas where you can shut off and relax. One of London’s most famous parks must be the Hyde Park, which lies in the middle of London and is one of the royal Parks. Here you can also find Pop and Rock Concerts. The Rolling Stones, for example, have enthralled thousands performing in this park (1969). Also St. James’ Park probably the most known park in London, with its astonishing view of the Buckingham Palace.
One of the most unusual yet biggest attractions, definitely not to be missed, is the hugest Ferris wheel in the world, the London Eye. When riding the Eye in good weather it is possible to see a kilometre out onto London and over the borders.
