The City of London is the historic and economic centre of Greater London, yet in area and population it is the smallest part. The boundary of the City of London was originally marked with a wall, made during the Roman times and served to protect London.

Today not many people remember about the original city wall. The City of London is known as the top financial centre in the World. The Cityscape interests people with some of its old buildings with their unusual past. These are amongst extremely opposing styles of architecture, buildings with multi-stories and glossy facades. Symbols of the city which is a centre of the global business community.
