Raynes Park railway station offers a fast and frequent service to London and is only a 20 minute walk from the house. Bus stops for Wimbledon, Kingston, Morden and Sutton are even closer.

Thus within Greater London, the house is located in the region of London which hosts the Wimbledon Tennis Championships, New Wimbledon Theatre, and contains Wimbledon Common, one of the largest areas of common land in London.

The residential area is split into two sections known as the "village" and the "town", with the High Street being part of the original medieval village, and the "town" being part of the modern development since the building of the railway station in 1838.

The house has fitted carpets throughout, double glazing and full central heating (except for the conservatory), colour television, DVD player (region 2), radio-CD player, hair dryer and iron.

There is a BT telephone (The telephone calls are charged for separately on account, B.T. charges plus 15% towards the line rental).

The kitchen has been fitted with plenty of cupboards, worktops, gas cooker, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and microwave oven. The conservatory provides a pleasant seating area for the garden in cooler weather and at the kitchen end there is a washer-dryer. There are three double bedrooms, two with double beds the other with twin beds.

BOOKINGS. Midweek and weekend bookings are accepted.
ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES. Every effort will be made to make the house available from 2 pm. In order to facilitate this we would be grateful if guests would vacate by 10am on the day of departure. However, in the case of early arrival or late departure, guests are welcome to leave their luggage in the owner's house.
HEATING. Gas for central heating, water heating and cooking and electricity for light, TV, washing machine, shower etc. are included in the tariff, however the owners would be grateful for your consideration in the use of these. Telephone and broadband internet will charged for separately.
BREAKAGES. Guests are requested to notify us of any breakages, damage or malfunction so that replacements or repairs may be arranged. Minor breakages will not normally be charged for but we would point out that all damages and breakages are the responsibility of the hirer and a £100 refundable damage deposit will be required prior to the holiday.
PETS. In the interest of all guests we regret that we cannot accommodate pets.
CANCELLATION INSURANCE. We strongly advise you to take out some form of holiday insurance in case of cancellation. We regret that we cannot refund payments unless the accommodation is relet and legally you may be liable to compensate us for any loss of revenue.
LIABILITY. The proprietors and their employees and agents shall not be liable to any person for any personal injury or loss, or damage or loss to property, however caused or sustained.
HOLIDAY ACCOMMODATION. The properties are available for holiday accommodation only and is exempt from the security of tenure under the Rent Act.
ACCURACY. Descriptions are made in good faith and are as accurate as possible. However, the owners cannot accept responsibility for errors and omissions and facilities which are unavailable for reasons outside their control.
NUMBERS. The property is equipped to provide accommodation for five (Thalia) or six (Hebe) people. This number must not be exceeded without prior agreement.
PAYMENT. All payments may be made by sterling cheque or bank transfer. Foreign currency cheques in major currencies will be accepted at current exchange rate after any commission charges by the banks.
SECURITY DEPOSITS. The security deposit will be returned to you shortly after your departure. The owners retain the right to charge for any damage to the property or contents due to any action or negligence on behalf of the renter or any member of his/her party or any person he/she allows onto the premises.
SECURITY ARRANGEMENTS. The security arrangements provided must be used to maintain the insurance cover arranged by the owners.
